Winning the mens doubles 6 times, and a finalist 2 further times, playing for the 1st and 2nd teams and captaining the NCL2 team. Finalist in the Bucks county closed final twice. Reaching the regional and then the last 16 at the national doubles play-offs at National Tennis Centre Telford of the 'Superlink' tennis competition. An hitting partner for the UK's No.6 ranked girl at Queens Club in the 1980's Played a Canadian millionare at the Ocean Club in Nassau, plus played at various centres in the USA including, Cincinnati, New Orleans and San Diego. Even recently won a camp site tournament in France that featured 3 english county players. Turned to coaching and have been focussing on development in this area. Started as an LTA qualification then turned to the PTR for the next level. Coached at Coleshill Tennis Club and helped set up the coaching sessions with the late Alan Lowe, a good friend and tennis partner who sadly died this year. Over the last 3 years coached at Widmer End Tennis Club where the group lessons proved popular and became a portal for many new players to become members and helped raise the profile of the club. Paul is insured through the PTR and holds a CRB certificate through the LTA, plus first aid certification through the Red Cross. Paul is a massive football fan, supports QPR, where he grew up, so happy, and is a FA coach and helps AFC Lighning u15s team.
